GEORGIA- The body of a dead 13-year-old boy who vanished over the weekend has been found, and his death has been ruled a homicide, according to reports.
Jamiren Crosby was last seen alive over the weekend, prompting his family to begin a search for him, WSB-TV reports.
A woman who was walking her dog Monday thought she saw what appeared to be a body wrapped in a blue tarp.
Police were called to the scene, and Crosby’s family were also there.
His family told FOX 5 Atlanta that Jamiren was a straight A student who was a “sweet child”, and he didn’t deserve this.
Jamiren reportedly left his home around 2 a.m. Saturday and that was the last time he was seen alive by his family.
Before his body was found, Jamiren’s family says they were told by people that he had been murdered.
There are no suspects in custody, and there is an ongoing investigation.
