GEORGIA- The body of a 8-year-old girl was found in a wooded area two days after she was reported missing, Gwinnett County Police Chief J.D. McClure said at a press conference.
Nicole “Amari” Hall was reported missing on Sunday by her mother, Brittany Hall, 27, who told police that she awoke to find her daughter missing from their home.
Hall told WAGA, “I woke up yesterday morning and my daughter wasn’t here. The door was cracked.” “I went outside the whole place. I did not see. I called 911.”
Police have charged Hall’s partner, Celeste Owens, with felony murder. Hall has been charged with concealing a death of another.
There is still an ongoing investigation, and Hall may face additional charges.
It’s unclear how Nicole died.
