LOS ANGELES- A missing student’s body has been found, and police have charged two suspects.
During a press conference on Nov. 20, the Los Angeles Police department announced that they had found the body of missing 21-year-old Juan Carlos Hernández in a shallow grave off of an Interstate.
Days later, police arrested Sonita Heng, 20, and Ethan Astaphan, 27, on suspicion of Hernández’s murder.
Hernández, a student at El Camino College, was reported missing by his family on Sept. 22. He was last seen leaving his job at a dispensary, and had even texted his family that he would be home soon but never made it.
On Spet. 24, police found Hernández’s car abandoned two miles away from his job.
