Missing mother’s body found burned in Michigan; car is still missing

MICHIGAN- The body of a missing mother has been found burned and police don’t have many leads.

Alison Sargent was first reported missing on Thursday by her boyfriend according to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office. She was last seen alive that morning as she headed out to go to a local supermarket in Battle Creek.

According to MLive, Sargents body was found by a person walking through Emmit Township around 3:00 p.m on Saturday.

Police don’t have many leads, but they’re are searching for her vehicle, which is missing.

Sargent was driving a 2012 black Dodge Journey with a pink license plate frame that had stickers in the rear window.

There are no suspects as of now, and authorities are waiting for her autopsy results to come back from the medical examiners office to determine her cause of death.

Despite waiting for her cause of death, police have already ruled her death a homicide.
