Missing teen’s photos found on sex trafficking websites

NEW JERSEY- 17-year-old Aviana Weaver has been missing since Sept 12th, when she was last seen and now her photos are showing up on sex trafficking websites.

According to Ariana’s mother, Angelica Scarlett told New Jersey’s 101.5 “We have pornography pictures and my daughter looked completely upset and unhappy in these photos.” She added “[Investigators] believe she is in danger being held against her will. She’s 17 and she looks upset.”

Her mother says that Ariana’s phone gave off a ping at a tower in Philadelphia, but her phone has been turned off. Scarlett says she did receive a text message from an unknown number saying that Ariana would home soon for school and that she loves her.

Did she go willingly? Maybe she met a guy online who convinced her to make some quick money..

Her mother says this is not like her, and she was looking forward to attending her new school year.

Why would a kidnapper or someone who is a sex-trafficker text her mother saying she’s coming home.

Ariana is half Black & Hispanic, 5 feet 4 and 200 pounds with Brown hair and brown eyes.

She attends Rancocas Valley Regional High School in Mount Holly.
