Mom charged after bodies of two kids are found decomposed inside home

BALTIMORE- A mother has been charged after police say she allegedly killed both of her children whose bodies were found decomposed.

Jameria Hall, 28, was arrested on Wednesday after police were called about a foul odor coming from the Hall’s apartment a day before.

Police found the decomposing bodies of 6-year-old Da’Neria Thomas and 8-year-old Davin Thomas.

Da’Neria’s decomposed body was found in a bathtub with clothes wrapped around her neck. According to docs, she was strangled and drowned. Her brother Davin was found in a sleeping bag with a large knife stuck in his chest and a trash bag around his neck, police say.

It’s unclear when the children were killed, but local news outlets say the children were seen alive last Tuesday.

Police say that a neighbor had heard a kid yelling ‘Mommy, no!” that night.

Hall allegedly told her mother that the children’s father had them, but that wasn’t true.

Hall has been charged with first-degree murder, first-degree assault and reckless endangerment of the children after allegedly confessing to killing them but there isn’t a clear motive.
