LOUISIANA- A mother along with her 11-year-old daughter were arrested this past week after the minor went to her school and knowingly gave her classmates THC gummies.
Police say that the mother, Alexandra Price, had “a variety” of marijuana edibles along with other products when they searched her home.
School officials contacted authorities after one of the classmates who ate one of the laced gummies fell ill, and was sent to the Hospital. It was then that doctors found out why.
Price’s 11-year-old’s daughter, whose name is being withheld due to being a minor, has been charged with distribution of a controlled substance. She then released to a family member.
As for Price, she admitted to making the laced gummies and was charged with possession of a controlled substance, manufacturing of a controlled substance and other offenses.
Her bond is $150,000.
