ARIZONA- A mother is accused of shooting two of her kids, resulting in the death of her 2-year-old daughter.
Police officers visited the suspects home on Monday, after 24-year-old Esther Callejas called her husband and another family member, telling them that she had killed two of her kids, KPNX reports.
Both children were taken to a Hospital, but the 2-year-old was pronounced dead. Callejas 6-year-old son luckily survived.
Callejas suffered a “non life-threatening injury” in the incident.
She has been charged with one count of first-degree murder and one count of attempted first-degree murder.
Callejas allegedly suffered from depression and was on medication.
