TEXAS- A mother has been charged with murder, after she allegedly confessed to killing her daughter.
According to the Star-Telegram of Fort Worth, 34-year-old Krystal Lewandowski called 911 to report her daughter Czara missing.
An arrest affidavit states that when the 911 operator asked Lewandowski where she had last saw her missing daughter, she allegedly told the operator “Ok, maybe I should just tell you now. OK, so last night I was advised to slit her throat”.
Lewandowski allegedly admitted to then wrapping her 4-year-old daughter’s body in a trash bag, placing her in the trash after killing her.
When police went to Lewandowski’s home, they found the 4-year-old’s body wrapped in a trash can, located in the backyard.
Police say that Lewandowski told them she had killed her daughter, because she was told to do so, and if she didn’t, something worse would’ve happened.
Lewandowski has been charged with capital murder of a child under 10-years-old.
Children protective services also removed an 18-month-old from the home.
