VIRGINIA- A mother has been charged with murder after her 4-year-old son overdosed on THC gummies.
Dorothy Anneette Clements, 30, was indicted on Monday by a grand jury, according to Fox News.
Clements’ son died May 8, 2022, after he suffered a medical emergency two days before, the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office said.
Detectives determined that the boy ingested a “large amount” of THC gummies. Doctors said the boy’s death could have been avoided if medical attention was sought after ingestion, Fox New reports.
Clements’ remains behind bars.
