NORTH CAROLINA- Police have charged a mother for the murder of her 6-month-old son who went missing back in Feb. The boys disappearance even prompted an Amber Alert.
Tamara Jernel Brown was arrested on Friday, Feb. 23, the day before police issued the Amber Alert, for assaulting a police officer and robbery, but her son Chi-Liam Cody Brown-Erickson was not with her.
On Saturday, Feb. 24., police asked the public in helping them locate the missing 6-month-old, who was missing for over 24 hours.
Police say that at that time that Brown and her son left their home and were both spotted in uptown Charlotte, and then disappeared.
Chi-Liam Cody Brown-Erickson’s body was found on Saturday morning inside of the Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte.
