Florida- A mother has been arrested after confessing to killing her son.
According to report by WFTS, 24-year-old Victoria Jackson told a friend that she had killed her 10-month-old son Malachi Jackson. That friend contacted police on on Oct. 1 and told them about her confession.
Florida police questioned Jackson about this confession, and she told police that it was true.
She confessed to police that she had put a pillow over Malachi’s face and suffocated him to death.
Jackson was then arrested on Nov. 1 and was charged with first-degree murder for killing her son on May 24th.
She raised over $4000 on a GoFundMe for son’s funeral. The company says they’ll be refunding money back to people who donated.
