Mother killed with AK-47 at trail ride event; 3 suspects arrested
LOUISIANA- A mother, who studying to become an X-Ray tech, was shot and killed earlier this month and police have now made some arrests.
21-year-old Zion Hutcherson was attending a trail ride event with her sister, when a group of men pulled out AK-47’s and began shooting the crowd they were in.
Several people were shot at the event, but Hutcherson succumbed to her injuries, leaving behind her 1-year-old daughter.
Police announced on Wednesday in a press release that they have arrested 3 men for Huterson’s murder, Tommie Diamond, 23, Craig Brown, 29 and Brandon Perry, 30.
Diamond, and Perry are both facing second-degree murder charges, while Brown was charged with negligent homicide.
In addition to being charged with second-degree murder. Perry is facing 2 counts of attempted second-degree murder, 2 counts of possessing weapons while possessing controlled substances, possession with intent to distribute controlled substances and having a stolen firearm.
Police have issued arrest warrants for two other suspects.
