TEXAS- A mother shot and killed a man after he broke into her home as her children were inside, police said on Friday.
The unidentified mother was home with her three children on Thursday when she heard the suspect breaking into her home.
The man, whose identity isn’t known, entered the home from the rear through the laundry room when the mother grabbed a gun and shot him twice in the chest, according to KSAT.
When police arrived, the man was found in the backyard on a chair. He was later pronounced dead at a hospital, reports Fox News.
It’s not clear if the woman will be charged and there is an active investigation into the man’s death.
