The mother of 3 year old Kimora Simon accepted a plea deal and pleaded guilty to her murder on Wednesday. According to (WJRT) Kimora Simon’s mother, Eroka Finley pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, first-degree child abuse, tampering with evidence, child abuse in the presence of another child, lying to police and welfare fraud in her daughters name. She also pleaded guilty to second-degree child abuse in a another case that was filed several days before she pleaded guilty to murder charges. Finley must also repay $7,300 to the state for committing welfare fraud. After murdering Kimora, Finley continued to receive welfare benefits in her daughter’s name. Kimora’s father, Khairy Simon will also be sentenced on Sept 5th, along with Kinley. He pleaded guilty in June to second-degree murder and a misdemeanor charge of moving a body without permission. The parents are accused of beating Kimora and then putting her in a shallow grave but her body has never been found. May she sleep in peace.
