LOS ANGELES- The mother of rapper YG’s children was involved in a fatal crash on Wednesday.
Catelyn Sparks, who shares two children with the rapper, was involved in a car crash that killed an 89-year-old woman, according to TMZ, citing unnamed law enforcement sources.
Sparks was allegedly driving her 2023 Tesla when the woman made a U-turn in front of her, causing the crash. The unidentified woman was pronounced dead at the scene, the outlet reported.
The elderly woman was driving a 1985 Cadillac at the time of the collision.
Sparks’ car slammed into the driver’s side of the vehicle, and she was taken to a near-by hospital to be treated for minor injuries, according to the outlet.
Law enforcement tells TMZ that Sparks didn’t commit a crime and the deadly incident was an accident.
