TENNESSEE- A mother has pleaded not guilty to murdering her 15-month-old daughter, and hiding her body.
Megan Boswell has pleaded not guilty on Friday, to 19 charges that she’s facing. These charges include two counts of felony murder.
15-month-old Evelyn Boswell was first reported missing in February, but she hadn’t been seen since Dec. of 2019.
Boswell has been in jail, since Feb, for lying to investigators about Evelyn’s whereabouts.
On March 6th, police found the toddler’s body on the property of a relative.
A grand jury then indicted Boswell for murder on August, 19th.
According to WJHL, Boswell is being held in jail on $1 million bond, and her next court date is on Dec. 3rd.
She may face the death penalty, or life in prison, but it’s up to the state.
