(Florida) A mother who had claimed to police that her son was abducted has now been charged with murder.
Charisse Stinson has been charged with first-degree murder for the death of her 2 year son after originally telling police that she was beat unconscious and her 2 year old Jordan Belliveau was abducted.
According to CNN, Stinson told police a man named “Antwan” who was described as 25 years of age, with dreadlocks and gold teeth beat her unconscious at a park and when she awoke, her son was abducted.
According to a affidavit obtained by WFTS Stinson later admitted to police that she struck him in a “moment of frustration”.
Which caused the back of the child’s head “to strike an interior wall of her home.”
The affidavit also states that the victim “suffered seizures during the night” which lead to his decline in health causing his death.
Stinson did not seek medical attention for the child, instead she dumped his body.
Belliveau’s body was uncovered Tuesday in a wooded area in Largo soon after the Amber alert was called off.
Stinson’s bail for her child abuse case has been set at $500,000 and there is no bail set for her murder charge.
