FLORIDA- A mother who told place that her son was kidnapped has been arrested for his death.
Patricia Ripley, 45, is now facing premeditated murder and murder charges in the death of her 9-year-old is who had non-verbal autism.
Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle told the Associated that Ripley attempted to drown her son Alejandro Ripley twice at one canal before witnesses scared her off.
She went to another canal, where police believe she succeeded in killing Alejandro..
Ripley told police that two Black men pulled her over, demanding drugs, and when she told them that she didn’t have any, they took her cellphone and her phone.
Her motive is unknown at this time.
