LAS VEGAS- Booking photos of the two teens accused of running over a former police chief with a stolen car have been released.
Jesus Ayala, who turned 18 while behind bars, and Jzamir Keys, 16, are both charged with murder for the caught-on-video killing of 64-year-old Andreas Probst last month.
The teens, who are being tried as adults, were arraigned on Tuesday on charges of murder and other felonies from an August 14 crime spree where they allegedly hit and injured another bicyclist and rammed into another vehicle.
Police say Ayala was driving the stolen Hyundai Elantra, as Keys was filming on his phone when they hit Probst at 6:04 a.m.
In the video footage, Ayala can be heard saying “Ready?” as Keys aimed his iPhone on Probst.
‘Yeah, Yeah, yeah, hit his ass,” Key told Ayala, who swerved the stolen car into the bike lane, striking Probst from behind, sending him flying 96 feet from where he was struck.
“Damn, that n***a got knocked out!,” Ayala can be heard saying before speeding away.
