“My 600-LB Life” star Destinee LaShee has died at the age of 30.
The news was announced by LaShee’s brother on Facebook Tuesday.
The reality star’s brother wrote
There is no cause of death as of now.
Destinee appeared on season 7, which aired in 2019. The first transgender participant of the show went by the pronouns they/them.
TLC told POEPLE “Our deepest sympathies go out to Destinee’s family and loved ones at this difficult time.”
They weighed at 699 pounds when the episode aired and lost 229 pounds in a year after the surgery.
