Nas’s long awaited album is finally here! Titled “Nasir”, the album was produced by Kanye West and tonight Nas, Kanye West, Def Jam, Kim Kardashian and more took to where it all started for Nas, Queensbridge projects. Damn, just saying that takes me back. “Nasir” will have 7 tracks and no features. The cover art for the album shows young boys holding rifles above their heads which may cause some talking because of how strong the photo is and the recent events involving gun related killings. The photo is from photojournalist Mary Ellen Mark who was part of a 1988 story that was reported by Jim Atkinson. The story focused on South Dallas and the inner city environment that was filled with drugs, guns, poverty and more.
