CALIFORNIA- Actress Naya Rivera has been laid to rest.
The 33-year-old actress, best known for her role in “Glee” was buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles on July 24th, PEOPLE reports.
According to Ventura County, Naya’s cause of death was drowning.
PEOPLE confirmed that Naya died in a matter “of minutes”.
Rivera’s body was recovered on July 13th, which was 5 days after she had went missing after renting a pontoon with her 4-year-old at Lake Piru.
Another boater found Rivera’s son sleeping alone.
According to police in Ventura County, Rivera died saving her son, after their pontoon floated away because she didn’t use an anchor..
