Naya Rivera yelled “help” before drowning, according to son

LOS ANGELES- New details have emerged surrounding Naya Rivera’s death, and they’ve been provided by her son.

According to medical reports obtained by People, 4-year-old Josey Rivera told investigators that him, and his mother had counted “1,2,3” before jumping off their pontoon in Lake Piru on July 8th.

Josey also told investigators that, after Rivera pushed him back onto the pontoon, she was yelling “help”, waving her hands in the air.

Josey says that Rivera then disappeared under the water.

The autopsy results show that Rivera had suffered from a history of vertigo, and being in the water made it worse for her.

Despite Rivera having the anti-anxiety drug Diazepam, a small amount of amphetamines and an appetite suppressant phentermine in her system.

The medical examiners office says none of these drugs were factors in her death.

Rivera’s body was found 6 days later.
