CALIFORNIA- Actress Naya Rivera’s ex-husband Ryan Dorsey has filed a wrongful death suit on behalf of their 5-year-old son Josey.
The lawsuit comes 4 months after Rivera drowned in Lake Piru back in July after renting a boonton for both her and her son Josey.
According to court documents People obtained, Josey is suing Ventura County, California, the recreation Management and the United Water Conservation District for wrongful death and negligent infliction of emotional distress.
The lawsuit continues to state that Rivera’s death was preventable, and that the boat she rented didn’t have the proper equipment that was necessary to comply with the U.S. Coast Guard safety standards.
