LOS ANGELES- Former University Of Kentucky basketball player Terrence Clark is dead after a car accident on Thursday.
Clark ran a red light while driving at a high speed, hit another car and crashed into a pole and a block wall, the LAPD told WKYT.
Clark was pronounced dead at a Hospital. Police say he wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.
Former Wildcats teammate BJ Boston was reportedly driving behind Clark after leaving a joint workout.
Boston is alive, according to the LA Daily News, but it’s unclear if he suffered any injuries.
Boston and Clark had just signed with the Klutch Sports agency.
Clark, 6-foot-7, was considered for a first-round pick at the NBA draft after his freshman season in Lexington.
