Rapper NBA Youngboy was booked in a Louisiana jail after he was arrested in California last month on federal charges.
The Baton Rouge rapper, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, was booked into the St. Martin Parish Jail on Tuesday. He’s being held there on a federal hold for the U.S. Marshal’s Service, reports WBRZ.
Gaulden was arrested in Los Angeles last month after fleeing from police who pulled him over for a federal warrant.
Gaulden was handed down an indictment by a grand jury for felon in possession of a firearm in March.
The troubled rapper was arrested in Sept. along with 16 other people as a music video was being shot.
Police found drugs and guns at the scene.
A judge ordered Gaulden to stay in jail without bond until his upcoming trial begins.
