Nene Leakes reveals husband Gregg Leakes is “transitioning” after loss with cancer
Reality star Nene Leakes has revealed that her husband, Gregg Leakes, is “transitioning” after his loss with cancer.
The Real Housewives Of Atlanta alum told guests at her Linnethia Lounge on Saturday, “My husband is transitioning to the other side”.
“You don’t know what we’re dealing with right now,” Nene said, “We walked in this lounge because we had to walk in this lounge because this is our business.” So, when people approach and say, “You’re rude because you don’t want to say happy birthday”, my husband is at home dying. I don’t want to say “Happy Birthday”
Gregg was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2018, and was in remission for two years. He underwent surgery to deal with the return of the cancer in June, according to Nene.
Nene shared the news to the crowd after a fan requested for her to wish her a Happy Birthday after some fans thought she was being rude to them.
The couple divorced in 2011 and remarried in 2013.
