CHICAGO- Jerry Harris, of the Netflix docuseries “Cheer”, was arrested on Thursday, and charged in federal court with soliciting pornographic videos, images of minors and soliciting sex from a 13-year-old male victim.
According to prosecutors, production of child pornography is punishable by a minimum sentence of 15 years in prison and a maximum of 30 years.
The FBI served Harris with a warrant at his home this week.
Harris was accused of child sexual exploitation and abuse earlier this week, in a lawsuit filed by an attorney who’s representing two alleged victims, who are twin brother’s.
Police discovered Snapchat messages between Harris, and underage boys, who he worked with. In the messages, Harris was soliciting sex from the minors.
