New Court Documents Reveal Murder Suspects Attempted To Kill Julio Foolio Last Year

TAMPA. FLORIDA – New court documents explain how authorities linked the five suspects to rapper Julio Foolio’s murder.

Court documents said the five suspects, Isaiah Chance, Alicia Andrews, Sean Gathright, Davion Murphy, and Rashad Murphy are all accused of planning and carrying out his murder as part of a gang war.

Prosecutors said Foolio was a 6 Block gang member, Chance is allegedly with the gang ATK, which rapper Yungeen Ace is allegedly a member of, and the Muphy’s are linked to the 1200 gang.

They said the suspects tracked and followed the Jacksonville rapper to Tampa and followed him around to two strip clubs before they ambushed him at the hotel, according to Action News Jax.

The only female suspect, Andrews was with her boyfriend, Chance, as they acted as a “look out” while the other three suspects were in another vehicle waiting the plan out.

Investigators said surveillance cameras and phone data linked the three shooters to the two Murphy’s and Gathwright. One video from a Tesla shows the shooting.

The suspects fled in sperate vehicles after the deadly ambush, with Davion driving the other car back to Jacksonville and the others took an Uber home, documents said.

Data from Gathwright’s phone revealed the moment Murphy allegedly killed the rapper, sending him a text that read “I’m Koming home my thirst is quenched!!! pop a bottle of don julio” (disrespecting the rapper).

Court docs also reveal a traffic stop on Gathwright’s car led to detectives finding a bag of live riffle rounds that may be a match to previous attempt on the rapper’s life last October.

All five suspects have been charged with first-degree murder.
