New Jersey- A mother was arrested on Saturday for the murder of her son, after she claimed he was abducted.
Nakira M. Griner, 24, told cops that on Friday, at around 6:30 p.m., her 23-month-old son Daniel Griner Jr. was abducted.
Her son’s body was found dismembered and burned under the shed in her yard, in garbage bags and in one of her purses at around 3 a.m. on Saturday, according to the Vineland Daily Journal.
According to a criminal complaint, she admitted to police that she hit her son because he wouldn’t eat or listen to her, adding that she struck him so hard, she caused him to fall down a flight of stairs.
She had time to seek medical attention for her son, but instead told police that she left him in a stroller.
Griner was arrested and charged with first-degree murder, second-degree desecration of human remains, second-degree endangering the welfare of a child and tampering with evidence.
