NFL Player Malik McDowell Accused Of Public Exposure Near Kids Center

FLORIDA- The Cleveland Browns’ Malik McDowell was arrested after allegedly walking by a children’s center naked and attacking a police officer.

According to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, McDowell was arrested Sunday, Jan. 17 and charged with exposing his sex organs in public and resisting an officer-obstruct with violence and aggravated battery on an officer.

The South Florida Sun Sentinel obtained an arrest report of the incident, which says that officers received a report of a naked man walking near a school.

Authorities say that McDowell was seen video footage walking by the center naked.

The arrest report also said that when an officer arrived at the scene, he was allegedly attacked by McDowell in a “violent attack”. McDowell allegedly “charged” at the officer full speed with a closed fist.

McDowell fled the scene, but an officer caught up to him, tasering him.

McDowell’s attorney says his client may have taken something that he was “slipped or gave him something he was unaware of.
