Nicki Minaj turns off her Instagram comments & here’s why

Nicki Minaj has pushed her album “Queen” back now, for the third time and fans are not happy. The original release date for her fourth studio album “Queen” was set for June 15th, as she announced on the red carpet at this years Met Gala. She then told her fans via her Instagram live video that it would take a little longer saying “Trust me, it’s the better choice,” and gave a date for August 10th. Now, Minaj has pushed the album release date back AGAIN to August 17th because she says there’s a Tracy Chapman sample that needs to be cleared. Wait, there’s more reasons as to why Minaj has turned off  her Instagram accounts. Big Sean took to Twitter to let fans know that he’s “appalled” that EA Sports took out Colin Kaepernick’s name out from his verse on “Big Bank” which was for Madden 19.

“Big Bank” is Yg’s song that features Nicki Minaj, 2 Chainz and of course Big Sean. Since the news came out that EA sports removed Kaepernick’s name from the song, YG has spoken out, 2 Chainz & Colin himself, supporting a video that YG put up on his Instagram but what about Nicki response? Nicki was actually in a ad for Madden 19.

Yes, and the fact that EA sports took out Colin’s name from the Big Sean’s verse doesn’t seem to be affecting her at all since she hasn’t released any statement or comments regarding the matter. Is that why she turned off her comments? Is she only concerned about the checks and not the fact that an NFL player has basically been blacklisted from Football because he was kneeling to bring awareness to police brutality? It might be that the “Queen” doesn’t want to deal with backlash of her album date being pushed back 3 times and now the controversy surrounding a song that she had a verse in… Hmm. Which one is it?
