Nike has announced that they will be postponing the launch of a collab with rapper Travis Scott after the deadly Astroworld music festival tragedy.
The company announced the news on Monday.
Nike posted a statement on their website, which read:
“Out of respect for everyone impacted by the tragic events at the Astroworld Festival, we are postponing the launch of the Air Max 1 x Cactus Jack.”
The sneakers were set to be released on Dec. 16.
Ten people died and about 300 others were injured at Travis Scott’s festival at Houston’s NRG Park on Nov. 5.
