LOS ANGELES- Rapper Nipsey Hussle’s murder suspect was attacked with a razor Tuesday while in custody, according to a report.
Eric Holder Jr. was attacked by “multiple individuals” while he was waiting to be transported to The Los Angeles courthouse Tuesday morning, according to his attorney Aaron Jansen, reports NBC News.
Jansen told NBC in a statement that Holder Jr.’s head was injured after he was assaulted with a razor.
“He was taken to the hospital and received an MRI and staples in the back of his head,” Jansen said in his statement to NBC Wednesday.
Holder’s attack delayed closing arguments a day back.
As I wrote earlier, authorities say it’s unclear how Holder Jr. was attacked, because due to him being involved in a high-profile case, he is kept away from other inmates when he’s transferred to court.
