NORTH CAROLINA- A man has been charged after driving his car into the terminal of Wilmington Airport, police said Friday.
Tray Anothony Dvorak is accused of driving his car into gates surrounding the airport, making his way into the airfield and then the tarmac, while evading police, according to The New York Post.
He also injured a TSA agent who was reportedly fleeing to safety. She broke her ankle.
Dvorak was arrested at the airport around 7 p.m., after he plowed through glass doors and windows at the terminal.
The airport remained opened.
Dvorak was charged with assault with a deadly weapon on a government official, trespass on airport property, speeding to elude police, disorderly conduct and resist obstruct delay a government official, the outlet reports.
It’s unclear if he was under the influence of alcohol, or drugs.
