HARLEM- The notorious former drug dealer turned snitch, Alberto “Alpo” Martinez, was shot and killed in Harlem on Sunday.
The shooting occurred on West 147th Street near Frederick Douglass Blvd around 3:20 a.m. when bullets were fired from a vehicle driving by, police say.
Alpo, 55, was shot multiple times in his chest.
He was rushed to a near-by Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Alpo, who many have praised, despite him snitching, which led to the arrests of other drug dealers, admitted to killing 18 people in a jail interview.
He was released in 2015 while serving a 35-year sentence for 14 counts of murder.
His death HASN’T been confirmed by authorities.
