Numero Group says they didn’t give Kanye West clearance to sample song on Teyana Taylors album

Record label Numero Group claims that Kanye West did not receive clearance from them to use their sample ” I Do Love You” on Teyana Taylor’s track “Issues/Hold on”, which is on her new album “K.T.S.E”. Taylor’s album was produced by Kanye West. According to Pitchfork the sample is from Numero Group’s 2010 Boddie Recording Company box set. The song was recorded by an unknown artist and is a sample from Billy Stewart’s 1965 hit “I Do Love You.” Numero Group say they still haven’t heard from Mr.West, even after “K.T.S.E’ being released. Numero Gruop told Pitchfork I want to be explicit that while we haven’t actually heard anything from Kanye’s team about this sample, we are in the midst of multiple other clearances and I don’t want to imply that they don’t intend to clear it.”. This not the first time Kanye West has been in trouble several times for allegedly stealing other people’s ideas. From his his music to his fashion. 1. Have you ever considered writing an ebook or guest authoring on other blogs?
I have a blog based on the same topics you discuss and would love to have you share
some stories/information. I know my viewers would
enjoy your work. If you are even remotely interested, feel free to shoot me an e mail.

  2. With havin so much written content do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or
copyright infringement? My website has a lot of unique content I’ve either created
myself or outsourced but it appears a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my authorization. Do you know any
methods to help stop content from being stolen? I’d truly appreciate it.
