Nurse Who Attempted To Save Rapper Takeoff; “I Could Not Have Lived With Myself”

HOUSTON- A nurse, who chooses to remain anonymous, has broken her silence since the horrific night that took the life of rapper Takeoff and injured two others.

The nurse told Click2Houston that on Tuesday morning, around 2:30 a.m., she was scared after gunfire erupted at the 810 Billard’s and Bowling.

She tells the news station that she heard a man screaming “AHHHHH!”, and thought the cries were coming from Takeoff, but it was Quavo, Takeoff’s uncle and fellow groupmate.

The nurse said her first responder instincts kicked in and she rushed to the scene, taking an elevator to the 3rd floor, to where the rapper was.

“I could not have lived with myself if I knew I had the equipment to save his life and I didn’t,” she told Click2Houston.

She says by the time she got to Takeoff, he had no pulse, his eyes were rolled back, and he had blood coming out of the back of his head.

Takeoff, who’s real is Kirshnik Khari Ball, was and killed while at a private event of about 40 people. He was playing a dice when he and his uncle Quavo shared some words with another group of men before gunfire erupted.

Police say two gunmen were involved, but no arrests have been made.

According to the Migos record label Quality Control Music, Takeoff was killed by a stray bullet.
