NYC Corrections officer suspended for mocking George Floyd

NEW YORK CITY,- NYC- A New York City Corrections officer has been suspended after making fun of George Floyd in a photo.

Officer Derrick Lascko altered a photo of George Floyd in his final moments, putting his face over Derek Chauvins face, as he kneels on Correction Officers’ Benevolent Association Union President Elias Husamudeen’s face on what should be George Floyd’s.

Officer Lascko is now saying that he didn’t post the photo in question, and that it was somebody who is connected to Husamudeen. Lascko does admit to disliking Husamudeen and wanting to vote him out of his position.

It was announced on Sat by New State Dept. Of Corrections that officer Lascko has been suspended without pay.
