NYC Drill Rapper Gino Mondana Arrested For Attempted Murder

NYC- Drill rapper Gino Mondana was arrested on murder charges, according to police.

The rapper was arrested by detectives at Newark International Airport as he sat aboard a departing flight on Thursday.

The rapper, whose real name is Tray Stroman, is accused of allegedly shooting a man in the South Bronx back in April after an argument over a fender-bender, police said, reports The New York Daily News.

The NYPD pinged the rapper’s phone to locate him, according to The New York Daily News.

Police say Stroman was involved in a minor car accident with a an unidentified 22-year-old man on Southern Blvd. in The Bronx on April 1st.

As the rapper and victim were exchanging insurance information, Stroman offered to go behind the insurance companies and pay out of pocket for any repairs himself.

Police say the rapper told the victim he was going to get the money, but allegedly returned to the scene several minutes later with a fired “multiple shots” in the victim’s direction, striking the man in the leg.

Stroman fled the scene, and the victim was treated at a hospital for his injuries. Stroman faces charges that include weapons possession, menacing and an assault charge for a domestic violence that stems from last Dec.
