NYC Man Beaten By Group After Wishing Them A ‘Happy New Year’

THE BRONX – A man was stabbed and beaten by a group of men after wishing them a “A Happy New”, according to police.

A 29-year-old man was standing on the southbound D train platform of the 182nd Street-183 Street Station around 9 p.m. Monday when the group approached him.

The man told the men “Happy New Year” and an argument ensued, according to police.

The four men allegedly repeatedly punched the victim in the face and body.

One of the suspects then pulled a knife out and stabbed the man multiple times in his chest and his neck. He was taken to a hospital and placed in serious but stable condition.

All of the suspects fled the scene, according to the NYPD.
