NYC- A woman was shot in her eye while looking out of her peephole, police say.
The NYPD says a woman heard a knock on her door around 7:40 p.m. Monday night. The 37-year-old victim was then shot in her left eye when she looked into her peephole.
The victim was rushed to a hospital, where she was placed on stable condition.
The woman has reportedly been a resident at the Frederick Douglass Houses for almost 20 years.
Police haven’t made any arrests yet.
