BROOKLYN- An NYPD officer was shot in his chest, and another was grazed by a bullet on Sunday night, according to police.
Officer’s received a call about a man who was shot near Flatbush Ave.
When officers arrived, they found a man waiting for them at the top of the stairs, and he began shooting at officers with a .38 caliber.
The man barricaded himself in an apartment with his roommate who had been shot and his roommates girlfriends.
Police arrested the gunman.
An officer who was shot in his chest was taken to a Hospital to be treated. He reportedly had a bulletproof vest on. A second officer was treated after he was grazed by a bullet and his injuries are non-life threatening.
The gunman’s roommate was treated for a gunshot wound to his leg.
