O.J. Simpson, the former football player accused and acquitted of killing his ex-wife and her friend has died at 76.
“On April 10th, our father, Orenthal James Simpson, succumbed to his battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his children and his grandchildren. During this time of transition, his family asks that you please respect their wishes for privacy and grace,” a statement from his family read.
In May 2023, Simpson revealed that he was diagnosed with cancer.
On June 12, 1994, the football great was accused of killing his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman, who were brutally stabbed to death outside of his L.A. home.
