Officer’s Testimony Against Drill Rapper C Blu “Inconsistent”, Judge Says

BRONX, NYC- A judge is allowing drill rapper C Blu to be tried as a juvenile after he allegedly shot an arresting officer. A Bronx judge accused the officer of giving an “incredible and unreliable testimony” that had “no value” and it contradicted the video footage used in the case, reports NY Daily News.

Police say the rapper was part of a “disorderly” crowd when they approached him. The two officers said C Blu wasn’t cooperating and was resisting arrest.

The officers said the rapper fired a round into his own leg, which then struck officer Kaseem Pennant in the leg.

The judge says that “clear” video footage shows C Blu cooperating with police, as they illegally searched him and that the gun went off after both officers grabbed it from the rapper’s waistband, reports the NY Daily News.

“While there is no disputing the fact that Mr. Williams had a gun on him that night… He literally does everything you tell your child to do when they’re approached by cops. He literally kept his hands up. He literally tried to record to make sure there was proof. He answered questions he had no obligation to answer, judge SEMAJ told the NY Daily News.
