Oscar winning and groundbreaking actor Sidney Poitier who became the first African American actor to win an Academy Award for best performance and the first to be a top box-office draw has died at 94.
The actor reportedly died in his Los Angeles home Thursday.
Poitier has influenced many Black actors and still does.
