Mayor Bill De Blasio decided to close Rikers Island after years of  misconduct from the Correction Facility workers, just a few months ago 2 C.O.’s were caught smuggling in knives, and drugs into the jail. The jail is also known to be a breeding ground for many gangs, and a lot of violence. Many inmates have died in this prison, and people brought the heat to the Mayor who made the decision last year. Many were wondering were these inmates would go, and now we may be getting close to an unfortunate answer. Photo Credit: Drew Angerer/Getty Images
