Pablo Escobar’s ‘Cocaine Hippos’ Attacking People And Multiplying

COLOMBIA – Pablo Escobar’s “Cocaine Hippos” are multiplying and attacking locals, according to Colombia officials.

The 170 hippos that are roaming in northwest Colombia are beginning to attack people.

The evasive species have attacked some, sending them to the hospital with injuries, according to CBS News.

Students and parents at a school in Doradal say the hippos show up to their school, standing about 20 feet away, as they live at a close by lake after taking it took over, CBS reports.

The drug kingpin had brought just four hippos to Colombia in the 1980’s to be part of his private zoo.
