CALIFORNIA- The parents of a missing toddler have been arrested and charged with his murder after his remains were found.
Police say that the body of 2-year-old Thaddeus Sran, who had special needs, and was non-verbal, was found burned in a fire pit on Thursday in a farmland area.
Briseida, and Sukhjinder Sran, were arrested on Friday, just a day after they stopped cooperating with police. They’ve both been charged with his murder.
They told police that the toddler had disappeared after they had put him to sleep on July 15.
According to the Fresno Bee, the toddler’s mother had been investigated before for the death of her infant daughter, who died in 2015. She was cleared as a suspect.
The couple have 3 other children, who have been placed in the care of Child protective services.
There is currently no motive for the toddler’s murder.
